St. Paul United Methodist Church is a connectional church that offers a variety of mission opportunities and supports numerous organizations. At St. Paul, we are actively engaged in local community mission work by providing care for children, battling the hunger crisis, and mentoring at our local elementary school. St. Paul is also one of the 5% of United Methodist churches that have a covenant relationship with a foreign missionary.
N.E.E.D. (Northeast Emergency Distribution) is a non-profit organization that is designed to help families in northeast Tarrant County that are financially disadvantaged or in crisis by providing food and other household goods. St. Paul collects food, toiletries, money, and other necessities each week to support N.E.E.D. in supplying items to residents in the area.
Donna Park Mentoring Partnership
Donna Park Elementary School is public school located in Hurst, Texas that provides education for children age’s kindergarten through 6th grade. St. Paul has teamed with Donna Park as a community partner through an Adopt-A-School program to help Donna Park meet the needs to children and families by providing mentoring, supplies, and other items to enhance children’s ability to learn.

Children’s Church is provided for children age 4 years through 4th grade during the 10:30 am service. Each week, children come to the church service to and are invited to the join Ms. Cindy at the front for children’s time. At the conclusion of children’s time, children are escorted to a classroom where they learn Bible stories, music, games, and art.
It is an exciting time for the St. Paul youth group as it continues to grow and develop. Youth ages 6th grade through high school are encouraged to join “SPY” (St. Paul Youth) as they join together in fellowship on group outings and activities. Go to http://www.SPYUMC.org for more information.
Music is an important part of worship and St. Paul appreciates and enjoys a variety of music including traditional, contemporary, and gospel. We strive to blend in something for everyone to enhance everyone’s worship experience.
St. Paul’s choir celebrates on Sunday’s by leading worship with anthems, soloists, and other exciting displays of talent. All members and visitors are invited to join the choir. Rehearsals are held Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m.
Hand Bell Choir
St. Paul’s hand bell choir is a fun and unique way to participate in worship through music. This group performs throughout the year and on special occasions and has members of all ages. Rehearsals are held Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m.
As part of Children’s Church on Sunday’s, children learn fun songs with a Christian message that they occasionally share with the congregation during the 10:30 am worship service.
Vacation Bible School
July 20th - 24th, 2015 at 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
St. Paul offers Vacation Bible School to all children ages 3 years through 5th grade. This big event occurs each summer and is a wonderful experience for the children and for the church to join together by watching children learn about the love of God. Activities include gathering time, art, Bible stories, science, snack, recreation, music, and closing time. The curriculum provided is always exciting and ties all the activities together to make for a wonderful adventure.
